Adding attachments to emails

Attaching a file to emails can be done by linking to the file from the message. Strictly speaking the file is not an "attachment" but a link to a file. "Standard" attachments cannot be used.

By linking to file you can track who clicked on the link to download the attachment while there is no way to track "standard" attachments.

Select text to use as a link in your message - for example "Download PDF" - and click the Link icon in the editor toolbar. Then, use the "Upload" button on the next screen to add your file.

You can also use a button to link to files.

File upload limitations

You can host files with your account as long as the hosted files are used in or related to emails sent from Envoke.

The file size limit is 25MB to accommodate PDFs and images. Video files tend to be much larger and should be uploaded to a video hosting service such as Youtube or Vimeo.

File types allowed to upload:

.bmp .doc .docx .eot .gif .gz .ico .jpe .jpeg .jpg .json .mov .mp3 .mp4 .mpg .otf .pdf .png .ppt .pptx .psd .rtf .svg .tif .tiff .ttf .txt .wav .wmv .woff .woff2 .xls .xlsx .xml .zip
