If you're sending out communications in English and French it's a good practice to offer a link so that subscribers can easily switch between the languages.

By utilizing the web-based version of your emails, you can easily direct your readers to their preferred language.

Step-by-Step Guide

To link your English and French campaigns together, you will need to create both messages first and then swap their "Online version" links.

Step 1: Copy the English Link

  1. Open your English email message in the editor.

  2. Navigate to the Configure tab.

  3. Locate the Online version panel.

  4. Click the button to copy the share link to your clipboard.

Step 2: Add the Link to the French Email

  1. Open your French email message in the editor.

  2. Add a text link that says something like, "View this message in English".

  3. Highlight the text and insert the link you just copied from the English version.

Step 3: Repeat in Reverse

  1. While still in your French email, go to the Configure tab and copy its Online version share link.

  2. Open your English email message.

  3. Add a text link that says, "Voir ce message en français".

  4. Highlight the text and insert the link you just copied from the French version.

💡 Pro Tip: Where to place your links

For the best user experience, we highly recommend placing these language toggle links in the header or footer of your email. A great spot is right next to your standard "View this message online" or "View our newsletter archives" links, where readers are already accustomed to looking for viewing options.
