The opt-out system

The opt-out system applies to contacts outside Canada and the EU. Contacts can be sent emails without preexisting consent until they unsubscribe.

Sending mandatory emails

The mandatory content option makes it possible to send emails where an internal contract or obligation exists even if contacts opted out from optional messages.

Which consent system is applied?

The location of each contact, as indicated by their country field, determines which consent system is applied. There are several options to collect and update the country field for your contacts.
