NEW: Date-based automated emails
Automated emails based on dates can be used to send renewal notices, appointment reminders, birthday emails or other messages triggered by a date.
Date based messages are triggered when a date stored in a custom field of contact records matches the current date. Date matching can be set to match a full date, including year, or only month and day.
Preview emails as any contact to test merge fields
You can now preview your emails as any contact in your database to easily check how they will see the message, including merge fields and dynamic content.
Create buttons with transparent backgrounds
You now have control over the button border colours, which means you can create buttons with only an outline as opposed to buttons with a solid background.
Advanced segmentation with multiple conditions
With this advanced filtering option you can include conditions in a single segment connected with AND and OR operators. For example you can select contacts who are either (volunteers OR partners OR members) AND live in Vancouver.
Opens by app and opens by mobile vs. desktop report
Two new reports are now available for emails sent after June, 2022.
The open rate breakdown report by app shows the email app (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Apple, etc) that was used by your contacts to open your emails.
The open by device report show the ratio of opens on desktop and mobile devices.
These reports, however, should be interpreted with caution due to privacy practices by email providers that block open tracking.

Customize colours and fonts for your Email Preferences Page and pick and choose which fields your contacts can update in the new editor that now includes a live preview.

Password expiry and password length
Two new security settings are now available:
force password expiry for users (expiry after X months)
control the minimum length of passwords
Both settings can be updated on the Account Options page for accounts on the Pro and Multi-Account billing plans.
Two factor authentication
Two factor authentication is now available for verifying the identity of users as they access their Envoke accounts. When enabled, users are required to enter a code on the login screen, which is sent to them via email to the email address associated with their user login.
Usability improvements to the form editor and email editor
We introduced usability improvements to the forms editor to make it easier to add and customize form fields and the form thank you page. Go ahead, create a new form to try the updates.
The drag and drop function of the email editor was updated as well to reduce lagging as you drag items into your email from the sidebar and the catchment area of where items can be dropped has become larger to make it easier to move content blocks around.
Notice when emails are getting too long
There is a new notification that you'll see in the email editor if your message gets too long and runs the risk of being cut off when viewed in some email apps. Check this article with tips on keeping emails lean.
Version history for messages
View all previous versions of any draft email and revert back to a previous version at any time. Just click the "Version history" link from the message editor.
Export email reports as PDF
You can now export email reports as a PDF to make it easier to share the reports internally. You'll find the new "Export PDF" button on the email reports page.
Avoid overwriting each other's changes when more than one person is working on the same message
There is now a notification system in place to help avoid content loss when more than one person works on the same message. When a user opens the message editor and the same message is being edited by another user a notification is shown to let them know of a potential conflict. If you see this notice you should coordinate with others before making changes to the email. Read more.
Additional fields for contact engagement analytics
"Total opens" and "total clicks" are now available as fields (columns) on the contact list page. These fields along with existing ones (total sends, last click date and last open date) come in handy to report on engagement for all or a segment of your contact list. You can add these fields on the "Column setup" page. These fields, along with all other contact fields are also exportable.
Additional engagement reports are available with Segments. Using segments you can identify contacts who are or aren't engaged (based on clicks, opens and failures) in a given time period to send re-engagement emails or to clean up your list. Read more about measuring contact engagement.
