Under-the-hood technical setup requirements and settings

In addition to configuration options available from your account, the following technical settings are to be completed by your IT person/team.

Settings for inbox delivery


Domain authentication (required)

DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) is a way to verify that emails sent from Envoke are in fact sent from you not by someone else pretending to be you. Most spam filter check for this and your email may not be delivered if DKIM isn't set up.

Sender Policy Framework (optional)

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is a DNS TXT record containing a list of the IP addresses that are allowed to send email on behalf of your domain. SPF setup is not required but recommended.

Settings for branding


Custom domain (optional)

Setting up a custom domain replaces all Envoke branded domains will be replaced with your own domain. This is a branding option, not required for email delivery.

Brand Indicators for Message Identification (optional)

Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) is a specification allowing for the display of brand logos next to authenticated emails for improved brand visibility.
